Early Spring?

Bailey yawns after taking in some fresh early spring air. It's difficult to get them both to smile in a photo!

Very much unlike last year, except for our Halloween snow storm disaster, we have had one of the driest winters on record and a rather warm one. Robins have returned in February, flowers are blooming in early March and temperatures are nearing the high 70's this week. Spring fever has its grip on us as we enter our March vacation week. We did not travel this year, but we seemed to have picked the right year to stay in CT.

Megan recently enjoyed the outdoors on a trip with Uncle Ryan and little brother Johnny to Dinosaur state park. Yesterday, Megan said that she is only afraid of four things: Spiders (thanks to Christina), Lightning (thanks to me), Dinosaurs, and trees falling on our house.

We have had our house up for sale since the beginning of May. Many people have seen our house and we have had several open houses, keeping us out of the house more often than we wish, and at the most inopportune times. We are being as patient as possible, waiting for an offer to come along. Keeping things clean with Bailey and Megan can be challenging.

But we did enjoy a nice spring - Megan learned to pick flowers from the gardens and put them into her hair. She also continues to enjoy her turtle pool and new slide!
