Early Spring?

Bailey yawns after taking in some fresh early spring air. It's difficult to get them both to smile in a photo!

Very much unlike last year, except for our Halloween snow storm disaster, we have had one of the driest winters on record and a rather warm one. Robins have returned in February, flowers are blooming in early March and temperatures are nearing the high 70's this week. Spring fever has its grip on us as we enter our March vacation week. We did not travel this year, but we seemed to have picked the right year to stay in CT.

Megan recently enjoyed the outdoors on a trip with Uncle Ryan and little brother Johnny to Dinosaur state park. Yesterday, Megan said that she is only afraid of four things: Spiders (thanks to Christina), Lightning (thanks to me), Dinosaurs, and trees falling on our house.

Learning to Fly

Megan and I went with Uncle Ryan and his "little brother" Johnny to the New England Air Museum. Most of the impressive collection of aircraft was untouchable, but a few activities were hands-on and encouraged learning the skill of flying. Megan practiced on a simulator, while Ryan and Johnny take a test ride.
