Oh, and by the way, our family of wild turkeys had made a recent appearance in the middle of the road during our last major snow fall. All 8 or so were walking between driveways trying to avoid the snowblowers - they had no where else to go, it seemed. When I finished the driveway, we drove into work together, but we had to wait for the turkeys to move out of the way of our car, several houses down the road! They flashed their tail feathers and let out a loud "Gooble" of disapproval!

O Deer, more turkeys
Despite the 1 to 2 feet of snow on the ground, deer continue to carve their path from the upper hill of valley falls park down past our back yard on the way to the lower stream by the tunnel. We have seen a huge number of deer compared to recent times; I counted 31 deer yesterday crossing our yard in single file and we probably had more this morning, a part of which Christina caught on video (see below). But she only got the middle of the pack!

WOW!!! 31 deer, you would think were we live we would see some..nothing ....
time for spring thaw.....Ahhhh!!! which will lead to spring flooding. Hopefully none of us have problems with that in our houses.
