Family Visit
Jamie, Stephanie, Rosemary, and Rhys braved the snow to visit us in CT. Rhys showed us how big he's gotten, walking everywhere, playing with Bailey, and cuddling with everyone.

The next morning, Megan and Rosemary got their first real sledding experience at Henry Park in Vernon, CT. The deep snow made the uphill trek extremely tiring (for Jamie and Me), so we only made a couple of runs, but having the girls go together made them brave enough to handle the quick ride! They each took turns wiping out, but had lots of fun. Christina caught some fantastic photos and video (see below).

First, we had our last Christmas party of the year at Great Gram and Linda's house.
Later that night, we had a Thai food dinner at our house and the kids got to play. The play kitchen and snow tubes were a big attraction.

Family / Tree
Mom and Dad stopped up for a quick visit last weekend. Mom took Megan to the Lutz Children's museum in Manchester. Dad had a cold, but so did I and Megan. Hopefully we'll all be better for Christmas.

Fall Vacation in Delaware
For our fall vacation, we travelled approximately 900 miles in 3 days as we made a trip down to Grammy and Grampy's house in Bear, Delaware. On Monday, we dropped Bailey off at the Turley's and began our trip toward NY where Grammy and Grampy came up to meet us at the Bronx Zoo. Megan's second trip to the zoo included the new Dora the Explorer 4D Adventure. I went to the US Open tennis tournament for the 3rd time in the last 4 years. That night, we proceeded to Delaware.
On Wednesday, we went to Camden, NJ for the Aquarium, but Megan fizzled after her second Dora 4D adventure and we realized that the travel was making us weary. Late that afternoon, we headed home, got Bailey, and made it home happy to be out of the car.
It was nice to see everyone and to see Philly. Megan loved playing with Rosemary at the Touch Museum.

Everyone loves a parade
On Memorial Day, Megan got to see Gigi, PopPop, Great Grammy Sutherland and Great Aunt Linda, Cousin Jenny, and Uncle John and Aunt Kathy at Vernon's annual parade. She liked the "instruments" - musical instruments that the marching bands played, and catching the candy thrown by the people in the parade.
Later, we enjoyed a cook-out lunch at GiGi and PopPop's with Uncle Donny. It was delicious!

Family Visit
My brother and his family recently came up from Delaware to stay over our house for a weekend. We got to see my new nephew Rhys for the first time (who looks just like Steph's dad, I think). Megan and Rosemary loved playing together, as you can see. We also had extended family over to celebrate Jamie's birthday. Everyone was treated to an early morning deer siting in our back yard the next day. Not pictured, but also present were Teri and Dave - I need better pictures of you guys! Dave helped me to try to identify a mysterious animal's droppings in my back yard - we're still not sure what it was, but it certainly wasn't a deer this time...
