We enjoyed a short week in Ogunquit during the first week of June. Starting off with a rainy day, we stumbled upon the Albacore Submarine Museum in Portland, NH - being inside an actual submarine which was used for experimental design back in the 50's? revealed the complex inner workings of an engineering marvel.
The weather improved from there and we were able to walk/run the beach, take the marginal way to Perkin's Cove for goodies, gifts, eat brunch at Cafe Amore, dinner at Cafe Prego, lunch at Sweet Pea Bakery, shop the outlets, get ice cream at Brown's, view the Nubble lighthouse, shop downtown Ogunquit, walk short sands with lunch at Union Bluff, shop Stonewall Kitchen, search for seashells, pet and feed the animals at York Wild Kingdom Zoo, etc.
