Blizzard of 2013 sets another record

Winter blizzard Charlotte (also known as Nemo) officially came in second (only surpassed by 2011's storm Benedict? - see Snow Bound in January 2011 ) as the most snowfall in a single storm in recorded history in Connecticut, dropping at least 26" on our back deck.  After my third day of snow clearing, including the edge of our roof again (the rain forecasted for tomorrow threatens to add significant weight to the snow up there), my shoulders are very sore.  Enjoy these pictures from your cosy place far from here:
