Storyland and Waterfalls in North Conway, NH

Like last August, we again enjoyed spending 3 days in North Conway, NH.  We revisited Storyland where Megan braved more of the rides this year (and also a meet and greet with Cinderella as shown below).  We also revisited the waterfalls in the river flowing along side the Kancamagus highway down from the presidential mountain range.  This year we got right into the cold, clean river and bathed in the waterfalls while standing on the smooth, worn granite and basalt (Christina swam, I dunked my head in, and Megan accidentally slid in).  We hiked the river side trail and picnicked in the woods.  Each night we had a campfire with marshmellows and lemonade.  Each day Megan and Christina swam in the pool.  Megan made friends by inviting herself to sit with a family with a young girl her age during a picnic social.  She was quite a chatterbox - she makes friends very easily!
