Gymnastics, Year One
Megan shows off some of her skills that she learned from her first year of gymnastics. One day each week for 3/4 of the year, she attended a gymnastics class with kids her age on adult sized gymnastics apparati. She has built coordination, balance, and strength. And oh yeah, confidence (she is a bit too fearless). Unfortunately, she now leaps from our furniture as if she were in class. She enjoyed trampolines, balance beams, the rings, the pommel? horse, uneven bars, parallel bars, a rope swing, ladders, a slide and many other obstacles. She learned the tuck-and-roll (sommersault) and how to jump (dismount). She attended classes with daddy, mommy, grammy, nonnie and papa, and gigi.
