The only complaint I have about our yard is the water run off. Apparently, an underground spring runs by the side of our yard and water pools when it rains. Mud and moss cover the ground there. During a recent deluge, a river 3 feet wide was flowing by! Our solution will be to dig a drainage trench and fill it with river rocks, then try to plant grass.
